He has taught as a Graduate Instructor at the University of Iowa, as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Monmouth College, as an Assistant Professor (NTT) at Temple University, and as an Assistant Professor (TT) at Portland State University. His courses have covered both theory and production in a range of media, including film, television, video, web, and mobile/small-format. He's taught specialized, upper-level courses in screenwriting, producing, directing, editing, music videos, and experimental media, as well as large, introductory courses in basic media theory and production. Professor Morrow has also taught online courses and several courses overseas, including courses in Irish media arts, travel writing, documentary filmmaking, and British mass media. While at Temple University developed six new courses, and redesigned eight courses. At Portland State University in his first year, Morrow redesigned four courses and authored three new ones.
